Ben 10 is a very popular television show right now that centers on Ben, a teenager with superpowers from a watch he found at a crash site of an alien spacecraft. Kids love this show and might ask you for a Ben 10 themed birthday party, and you’ll need to be ready to provide that for them.

This may seem like a very difficult task, but using supplies and some helpful party ideas, you can easily provide a great Ben 10 birthday party.

Aliens In the House

Ben is able to turn himself into various alien creatures because of the watch, who all have superpowers, so why not let the kids go nuts with making alien costumes? Just use some paper bags they can wear on their bodies and heads, and let them color them and decorate them with Ben 10 birthday party supplies. Once they are done you can marvel at their creativity in the various alien life forms they come up with.

Show Them Off

Now that they have made the alien costumes, have the kids do their best impressions of aliens. This is something very easy for them to do and it will be a great laugh for everyone at the birthday party. This will easily be one of the most fun parts of the entire birthday party for some of the kids.

Watch The Show

If you are going to have a Ben 10 party, then you are going to need to provide the kids with the show to watch while you prepare the food and presents. This will be great to do after the alien impressions because they will be tired and ready to settle down to watch one of their favorite shows. It works great, it keeps them occupied and it allows you to get some things done.

Ben 10 is a hugely popular show right now and kids all over the world dream of finding their own watch to help them change into aliens so they can help people with their superpowers. While you can’t give them that watch, you can give them a great Ben 10 birthday party, complete with aliens and more, using Ben 10 birthday party supplies and these party ideas.

Pencil cases have been around for years and years and were extremely popular in the 50s and 60s. They’re still popular now, and are used by hundreds if not thousands of companies as a promotional tool. They come in many styles, and even today there is a call for mass-produced pencil cases. Although some group pencil bags under this heading, we will not, as pencil bags are merely that, a plastic of heavy cloth or canvas bag with a zipper that is made of a size that would hold a pencil in length.

The venerable case is what we shall discuss. Pencil cases are made to hold anywhere from 2 to a dozen or more pencils of varying shapes and sizes. The case is it of is often made of wood but it can also be made of metal wood. It is designed so that people will be kept free from accidentally being stuck by a pencil. This happens frequently because pencils are usually kept sharpened.

Pencil cases may be plain or have decorations. Often there is an associated theme with the case decoration. Many kid friendly cartoons and television or movie characters have had their likenesses on these cases. The Hello Kitty likenesses have been popular for about 10 years and continue to be a favorite. Businesses also promote their brands on pencil cases, as the flat surface is an ideal promotional space for businesses looking to market to children. Some hello kitty pencil case or boxes have functional value added with enclosed or attached math tables or pencil sharpeners. There are even some round metal tins with screw on tops that are being offered as cases for pencils.

Schools are the most likely location in which you will see the pencil case phenomenon in full force. At the beginning of every school year almost every grammar school child will plead for a pencil case, usually one with his favorite cartoon or hero’s likeness gracing the outside. Pencil cases are dutifully taken to school but their follow up use is a bit shaky. For most kids, putting the pencils back seems to take way too much trouble. Pencil cases are held in hands and used as pretend swords. They are lost with some regularity and the hard plastic ones get stepped on and broken. Life is tough for the protectors of fingers and pencils.

You can find these at almost any dollar store, supermarket or other retail establishment. Some party suppliers even offer them as party favors for the grade school kids. And if you have ever had the joy and fun of giving one of these parties you will know firsthand that kids love to get these as little gifts. Go figure. I am not certain of the attraction of a child for these unless it is the advertising draw. It is almost impossible to find a plain pencil box anywhere. They all have some link to television or the movies.

Some adults even collect these little guys, and of course they are looking for the ones that are ole, unusual, or have a particular cartoon character or television character associated with it. It might be fun at that to look and see how many cases you could find with dogs or horses emblazoned on them…..Just bear in mind in the middle of the summer their popularity wanes but in a couple of months they are going to be at the head of the class.

Collecting superhero figures is not just for children. Many adults really enjoy searching out and finding original superhero figures from their favorite characters. They look online at places like eBay and other online auction sites bidding on original action figures. These action figures can be very inexpensive and only costs $5 to $10 or they can be very expensive costing several hundred dollars. The cost depends on how old the action figure is and what shape the action figure is in. Original figures are worth a lot more money if they are in good condition without any scratches, dents or other blemishes.

Superhero collectibles are more than just action figures that you play with. Collectibles are figures that adults usually purchase and leave in the boxes and do not play with. These type of collectibles are different than the action figures that children purchased at toy stores. The main reason is because these collectibles are not played with, there only purpose is to remain in a box on a shelf for display. So most children do not get into collecting superheroes until they are much older and no longer feel the need to play with the collectible superhero figures.

Comic book and superhero figures are more popular today than they have ever been. With more and more new movies coming out, made from superhero comic books, it is easy to understand why these figures are so popular. Every year millions of dollars are made from movies based off of comic book heroes. These movies are not just geared towards children or adults that like to collect superhero memorabilia; these movies are made for audiences of all ages.

Millions of people around the world enjoys superheroes both in comic books and in movies so it is no wonder that collecting superhero figures has become such a multimillion dollar industry. So the next time you’re in a toy store looking at figures from the latest million-dollar comic book movie, consider purchasing them and keeping them in the box so that you can sell them on eBay to one of the diehard collectors looking for that figure. You never know you might just make a few extra dollars.

Whether you enjoy collecting superhero figures or just watching superhero movies; superheroes are something that we all look up to. They can fly, or have super strength ,they fight the bad guys, and keep the Earth safe. Compare that to most of our daily boring lives it is easy to see why superheroes are so popular. Our children love to watch the cartoons, then grow up to read the comic books, and we all grow up to idealize the vision of superheroes in our society.

Collectible figures whether superhero,Ben 10 Figures or otherwise are an interesting way for an individual to show how much they enjoy a specific character. So even children may decide to get into collecting superhero figures, although they may not be able to keep the figures in the boxes and not play with them. But enjoying the superhero figures is the best part of collecting them.

How do you decide who to send Christmas Charity Cards to? What kind of cards to send? Isn’t that a trial every year? Do you send only to those folks who sent to you last year . . . or do you send to the very same list year after year after year, even if there’s a name on there you haven’t heard from in ages?

Many factors weigh into this decision, not the least of which is cost and how heavy or light your pocketbook is this year. Do you buy bulk cards at your local store, or go to the printer and select a card engraved with your business or family name, depending on whether it’s for business or personal use, or both? Or buy cards at the printer, to ensure they’re of good quality stock, but sign them each personally? Maybe you want to get cards that donate a portion of cost to a favorite charity, or are made from an earth-friendly stock . . . or both. What will postage set you back? Even if you have them engraved, you still have to address each envelope. There’s a cost of time involved to consider.

This decision should be made months in advance, especially if you involve a printer. Don’t expect to go to a busy company, especially if it’s a physical store (rather than on the internet) 3 weeks ahead of the holiday and end up with a well-done product. Decide on your list first. If Bill Whatever-his-name-is hasn’t responded to your newsletters in the last five years, and you can’t recall his business name, it may be a good idea to strike him off your holiday card list. That’s not a decision against seasonal cheer . . . it’s common sense.

I know I have addresses in my “little black book” that are no longer valid. I try to keep up-to-date but people move and lives change faster than we blink these days. If you don’t know someone well enough to keep up with them, it’s a good idea to not worry about sending them a holiday greeting. Chances are, they’re no longer at that address. On the other side of that argument are the folks you seem to catch up with only during the most important holidays. Don’t forget them. Our world is so harried today and the beauty of a sacred time can be the perfect opportunity to let others know we still think of them.

While it may in the short run cost you less to go to a store and buy a box of economy cards, such will never give the same lasting effect as a beautiful, well-crafted card from a topnotch printer. For those folks who mean the most to you, such Christmas cards ,Christmas Charity Cards evoke memories of shared good times, important events, and, above all, love of family and friends, and good business relationships. And whether it’s your dearest friend, or your most important business contact, making that lasting impression is the best way to go. In today’s internet world, often our business contacts become our friends. Keep that in mind. As an author, I know I have business contacts who have become close friends, and I base my general decisions on what bridges that road in the classiest yet most economical way.

Online printing has become an excellent option. With the opportunity readily available to go to your favorite online printing site and browse a large design catalog, marrying an economical option with a well-crafted one has become an easier and more manageable task.
